Welcome to the new LSP Vendor area.

If you are a vendor, and have a new LSP-related product to announce, then you're in the right place. We now have a dedicated forum for product announcements so they won't get lost in the mountain of topic throughout the forums.

This forum is not to be confused with the trader's board where members sell and/or trade their own modeling stuff. This forum contains new products that are soon to be released or have just been released. In addition, announcements made here may also be announced in the weekly updates every Monday.

Have fun!

Thanks for the welcome.

How can I post notification of my services and latest releases when I get the message "you are not allowed to start a new topic?"  Sort of defeats the purpose of this Forum!

Welcome aboard John! Since you're a brand-new member with only a single post, you have yet to serve out your moderation period. Folks in this category aren't allowed to start a new topic in this area of the forums. This is to dissuade fly-by-nighters from doing a dump-and-run. Note also that this area caters for product announcements and notices that pertain to our LSP niche; anything 'non-LSP' will, unfortunately, be deleted.

Hi Kev.

What is the "moderation period"?  It doesn't seem to be defined anywhere - not even under Help.

My message waiting to be posted is tailored to this Forum. It is about new 1/32 aircraft decals and a summary of my existing range that fits your criteria - this includes decals between 1/16 and 1/35 and the services I can offer.  I post on a number of other Forums and bulletin boards and always tailor the messages to the interests of that Forum.

My business is not fly by night - I have been in business now for 3.5 years and counting.  Visit my website and see for yourself that I have product there that your members might be interested in.

Thanks John. My reply wasn't intended to cast aspersions on you, your products or your business! Just general FYI. All new members have their first few posts moderated so that if we get any spammers (or worse) sneak through the registration process, their posts are never seen by the membership, and they're removed as members before anybody even knows they were here. It's a minor but highly effective inconvenience. We don't make much of it publicly lest the baddies go away and plot how to subvert it.

In any case, you are most welcome here, and I look forward to hearing about your new products.

Kev
