Azgaron
I've been working a bit with the engine and some other stuff. The front of the engine cowl doubles as part of the exhaust system, and needed to be thicker. Some touch up and tested in place. I did some valve springs. 36 of them took a while. Double Browning looked nice, and I nearly started mounting it, until I realised this one, had none. I removed things from the rear and made a new seat. A new backrest and a box was also made. A few more things to do like the belt attachment points, and the belts, then I think it has to be enough. dmthamade
That's amazing work!! How did you do the valve springs? Don
Azgaron
Thanks Don! They're made with thin lead wire on the same size plastic rods that can be seen in the pic. The rod was glued into holes, and then then top was heated with hot screwdriver, to secure the springs. HÃ¥kan
dennismcc
Impressive, love the engine work, my poor Lysander has been sitting patiently in the stash for years, which is a bit sad for such an amazing subject. Cheers Dennis

Azgaron
Thanks Mike! I decided to make a new intake for the cowl. Then on with some interior green on the cowls and the box. I did a dry fit of the interior. Might need some adjustments, but other than that I'm pretty okey with how it looks. So on with some color. Still a few things to do like the seat belts. Not sure what to use yet, but I'll solve that somehow. HÃ¥kan MikeC, Shaka HI, shbemo13 and 1 other

Azgaron
Thanks Andy! I've done some more. The IP is in place. Still need to sort the belts, but once they're done, I can start assemblying the body. The prop and spinner got some color. As did the tank and the engine. Gonna add some more colors to the engine once it has dried a bit longer. HÃ¥kan TorbenD, BradG, Shaka HI and 1 other
