Availability of Revell 1/32 FW-190 F

Just curious, has anyone seen this for sale yet in the US?  Some are already on eBay, which surprised me.  Not finding anything in stock in the US in major retailers.

Also, did Hasegawa, discontinue all of the FW190 A models?  They are no longer on their website, that I could find and all appear to be gone from all the web locations.  It just surprised me as their kits of the 190 A are excellent and a good value.

Thanks

Paul

The Fw-190F-8 is already available in Germany. The price is Euro 39,90, some retailers have listed it for Euro 35,90.

That best price of 35,90 euros comes out to $39.04 USD. Can't help but wonder why the kit is so much more expensive in Europe where it originates than it is here in the US ($23.95 USD or 22,02 euros). :hmmm:

I had a look at Tower Hobbies, most of the RoG kits are more expensive there than here in Europe. But when a retailer takes several hundred kits, he will get a very good price from RoG. Or it´s just a mistake.

€ 35.90 less VAT @ 20 % would make the price about € 29.91 - that's still a long way from € 22.02, about a quarter off the price.

Best of luck. Someone has made a goof or it's a loss-leader or break-even hoping to draw more custom.

I'm going to skip on this. It's a hooligan's airplane compared to the Bf 109. Waiting for the rumoured '109 G-2.

Unless you plan to buy it and built it straight away (how novel!), I'd wait as Revell kits tend to become significantly cheaper after a few months.

I like Hooligan´s airplanes. I have a lot of Fw-190s, but just one Bf-109 in 1/32. P1020631_zpsohxtguit.jpg

Not only that, but was also more modern and performed better than the Bf 109, too. All are good reasons to love the Fw 190!

True, to a point. Unless this is the reason Tower's pre-order price is so cheap:

Or it´s just a mistake.

Pre-ordered two last night, tossed in a few other things that have been on my watch list (like another Phantom Mustang), used a $10 off coupon and also got free shipping. Life is good. :)
