John1
If anyone is, just read that Dana Bell will shortly have an article posted over on HS that promises new info on Lou IV's colors. Not sure it's appropriate to hype an article on another website but I know there are a lot of Mustang fanatics here on LSP so I figured you might be interested. I personally don't care what color the nose was painted but I'm hoping Dana provides some info on the upper surface camo. RLWP
HS is great for seeing what websites looked like 20 years ago. For that matter, this one is pretty representative of IP board from five years ago. It's the last site I use still running this version. Not that I'm complaining, I like this older version Richard MikeC

John1
HS is great for seeing what websites looked like 20 years ago. Yeah, HS is pretty rough. The forums have some valuable info but the set up is so archaic (threads don't get bumped to the top after a new post is added) so anything of use just get's buried within a few days. Supposedly the owner of the site is adamant that he'll never change. Regardless, there is some good content over there, both in the articles and forums. Probably more so than the other big modeling site.

While HS is difficult to navigate, anything Dana posts is going to be worthwhile. And I've built Lou IV before - with green topsides - so very eager to see what his research has come up with. If you do come across his posting, please cross-post here. Cheers, Chris

MikeMaben
Yeah, HS is pretty rough. Supposedly the owner of the site is adamant that he'll never change. The forum is hosted by a new owner, Tapatalk, who are, according to Brett, migrating to a new platform. We'll see. CANicoll

Tnarg
This is a much better outcome than finding out that the nice looking Austro-Hungarian tan and brown camo was actually two shades of boring (but likely effective) dull grey, with a lot of yellowing in the varnish covering after many decades. It's always better to find some unusual color, but this version looks good too. A big thank you to Mr. Bell. Tnarg
