While the information I'm about to present is contained in the Welcome email you should have received after signing up, it's important enough to bear repeating here.

As a spam-prevention measure, an initial moderation period applies to all new members of the LSP forums. This means that each of your initial posts has to be approved by a moderator before it is visible to the membership, and you can post anywhere except the Traders Forum. Only replies can be made in the Vendors Forum. After 2 or 3 of these posts, they will no longer be moderated, and you are free to post anywhere.

Please note that the Traders Board will not be visible to new members until the moderation period has been served. Posting sale ads or parts requests in other areas of the forums as a substitute is not acceptable, and these posts will NOT be approved.

This approach has proved highly successful at keeping spam and spammers off the forums, but we appreciate that it can be confusing for new members. I hope you've found this information useful!

There's no notification... Just try posting elsewhere.

Just a quick note to mention that these rules have been modified, and the information in the initial post updated to reflect that. New members undergoing moderation are now able to see or post in any forum except the Traders areas.
