How do you remove parts from the sprue?

Brian has it nailed (the Radu/RB productions saw, not the yelling in the dark thing.  That's just crazy.  Everyone knows you have to yell at them with the lights on.  :mental: ).  www.radubstore.com by the way...

Spruebrothers has a version from CMK as well as a selection of blades.   I picked mine up in Telford at Scale Model World, it has a nice wooden handle and a blade from JLC which is very fine on one side and a bit coarser on the other.

Very nice for not gouging the plastic but still need to be careful you cut perfectly parallel to the edge.  It cuts styrene REALLY WELL!

On the topic of cutting thingys, what brand razor saw do people use? I have an xacto that's way to big for most jobs (the big one with the red plastic handle) I need something finer

I have that exact same one, with an aluminum mitre box that is pretty handy.  Definitely way too big to be using on sprues.  Vast majority of the time I'm using mine on resin.
