Thanks all for the info, especially Menelaos for all the great pictures. I think the grafitti up the intake is a bit beyond my painting skills! Sad to see them rotting away in the sun like that.

Thanks Jake and Red Dog for the book recommendations as well. I can see a few Christmas presents on the horizon...

the grafitti was a farewell to that particural 7 from the ground crews....

i dondt whant to hijack this traed

but is here some one ho can me help me out with the next thing

each wing has two lights when in use are the fading or are the flashing

I have lookd tru many vids but didnt found a answer

Mark the green red lights on the wings are permanently on at least on the ground . The positioning lights on the top and under the fuselage are fading/flashing

Thanks guys, more for the want list!

The decals look great but I reckon I'm only going to do one Phantom at my build speed, so I'm holding out for the Spey engined versions. I grew up across the river from RAF Leuchars, so I'd love to do a 43 or 111 Squadron machine.
