  1. Following with interest... Is that Heritage Aviation conversion set still available?
  2. I'd venture a guess that ICM will eventually do most of the -60 family - like they did with the Invader family. RIP to those who overpaid for KH kits when they were "OOP"
  3. They need to stop messing around and release that -60 family in 1/35. Everyone who overpaid for KH kits is gonna be pretty sad.
  4. I'd buy at least 2 of those if they did an F and an EF...
  5. Someone needs to do a 1/32 F-111 to go with that Pave Tack pod...
  6. A GR1 in 1990 would have had the “early” gear right?
  7. Oooo...BTW what's the difference between early/late gear?
  8. Can't wait to see this... Which 3D printed parts are you using? Any chance you'd consider selling a set to a fellow LSPer? Thanks! -Anthony
  9. Hey Dave - with Italeri releasing subsequent boxings of the "ECR" and "IDS", would the original "GR4" boxing still be the best one to look at for doing a GR1? Looking at approx 1990 time period. Thanks!
  10. Assuming you have the Trumpeter F-18F, you won't need metal gear. The kit gear is plenty sturdy!
  11. Unfortunately, he'd probably sell about 4 of those, 1 to you and 2 to me, maaaaybe 1 to Seiran01 above. Someone would have to do a whole set of 1/32 F-2 decals + stencils in Japanese too as well as Japanese ordnance to go on it.
  12. That's my unboxing video! Hope you guys are finding it at least a little bit useful haha. My initial takeaways (accuracy aside) - - I like Meng's approach to the cockpit - the separate "consoles" will make adding aftermarket much easier or even allow for someone to do a set of more detailed console plates to just drop in. - The wheels are in halves, none of the separate hubs and tires nonsense that never fit properly... - Meng's canopy is better IMHO - molding the left glass with the overhead piece will help alignment and the less gluing I have to do near clear glass the better. - Takom includes ALOT of photoetch - good/bad depending on how much you like photoetch. - Meng's lack of more "modern" additions like the upturned exhausts was definitely a disappointment - maybe another variant is coming? - The two kits are almost **identical** in alot of key areas... I won't go into detail on why. I hope Meng or Takom choose to tackle the H-60 family next...
