Martinnfb
I cleaned up the body and worked on Lofte 7, nobody gets excited about the link with factory drawings ? Mark , Heinkel will go on the wall or I can give it to somebody. I slapped the basic shape together from bits that were part of the kit, there will be more detailing involved so don't get excited guys. And now ,,who can help with a picture of cable work that is related to the bombsight installation including the framework attachment?
Martinnfb
also i made window frames , not a biggie but they were there this can give an idea how visible is the bombsight, quite a bulls eye, yes i know the rail is crocket
florin13
A little observation. Doors have no hinges, they slide down the wall into the bomb bay . Martinnfb
Thanks Florin, how would you explain this? I was under impression that those brackets at the edge of the doorway are hinges.
Martinnfb
I can see that here, and it appears that the door was unpainted

I do not know what is with these "hinges". But a door could not open enough to get there, especially with a parachute attached to you. Martinnfb
Thank you Florin, the picture is showing the "E" model. For some reason I have this imbedded idea in my head , that I saw hinged door somewhere. Weird. I will dig into the factory drawings of "P" in order to find out what are those odd bracket for. Cheers M.
Martinnfb
Check this out guys , Am I seeing hinges or am I loosing my mind? florin13
Certainly there is something that looks like hinges, but were they for doors? Or had another use? I hope I did not get messed up in your project! Florin
