BloorwestSiR
I finally got back to working on this. Between Chinese New Year, a minor basement flood and a birthday day party for our oldest, Ive really ignored this build. Hopefully I'll be able to keep going this time with fewer interruptions. I masked and painted the fuselage walkways and the ARN-101 housing. I also mounted the Rockeyes and their pylons to the plane. Onwards from here. BloorwestSiR
With the walkways on the intakes dry, I did the one on the spine next along with a couple of outstanding stencils on the fuselage. That should be most of them now. The rest will be via decals. Carl Shaka HI, NavyF4s, LSP_Kevin and 3 others

Gazzas
Thanks Gazzas! She's getting big too. I spent a small amount of time with VMFP-3 at El Toro in 1984 and 85. Got to walk along the spine of the beast. It's one big bird. Like standing atop a schoolbus... With wings! BloorwestSiR

BloorwestSiR
Got a bit more done. Due to my airbrush paint explosion earlier, I found some splatter on the tail planes so these were stripped and repainted. The Gunship Grey was then masked off and a black base coat was applied. I then applied Alclad to the metal sections. This was a 50/50 mix of Stainless Steel and Polished Aluminum.
