Spook..... I am your Phather......

Recommended Posts

Well, I'm still stuck here, but just can't sit still, so I've decided to build something, until I can get back to the Vark. I'm going to do an F3H Demon, but I'll have to use the old Planck-on-frame method, seeing as how my vac rig and I are 2,000 miles apart. So far, it's only taken me about 10 days, and hour at a time, to almost complete the center section. More pics to follow, if Photobucket behaves.

Phantastic, Lee! And so quick... And a great subject too.

And there is nothing wrong with "the old planck-on-frame method". I'm doing the same with my Viggen and frankly, I like that method a lot. It feels a bit like actually building an aircraft...

But I still hope you'll get back to the Vark some time in the future.

Cheers

Rainer

I really like seeing a build come together this way, taking some inspiration and going from there.

Would not mind a Demon in 1/32 at all. Have one in 1/48, and can only imagine what a big one would look like in the case.

I just discovered your build--the title caught my attention for sure since I'm finishing my P-61 of that name. I don't see this build method vey often, but you are definitely inspiring me!

Cheers, Tom
