kkarlsen
I'm finally feeling a bit more confident to continue work on this baby... Some photos of the interior work so far, need I mention: Very time consuming! I really could need some help on the engineers position This is a drawing I've found of the opening for the Engineer, but I do not know if it's a PBY-5A at all. Can any of you confirm that this is what it looks like, or if it is different? Regards: Kent Jan_G, sandokan, HerculesPA_2 and 1 other
Lothar
Kent, I can only shake my head in disbelieve when I see your work - not only this project but your work in general. Your modelling skills amongst others are one of the reasons I return to LSP every day. Lothar kkarlsen

dodgem37
'Can any of you confirm that this is what it looks like, or if it is different?' Standard cut-out on all models. Sincerely, Mark kkarlsen
Vandy 1 VX 4
The diagram looks like a PBY 3/4 what I recall is there's a small jump seat and a small generator in that position there is not a bulkhead between the fuselage and the wing column. The Squadron pby Catalina walk-around should have photos of that don't have the book in hand at the moment https://www.pinterest.com/pin/396950154636241080/ Edited October 4, 2017 by Vandy 1 VX 4 kkarlsen

dodgem37
If you study this image you will note the ring around the Engineer dummy. This is the cut-out you ask about. This aircraft is a -5. This cut-out is typical for all models. dodgem37
Quite the alignment exercise. To ease my stringer pain, I decided to use Evergreen. Kept losing flanges. Sincerely, Mark kkarlsen
