My Zero kit arrived today. Thanks, Nanook.

Most excellent! Enjoy and I am still trying to track down that conversion article/build for you. I SWEAR it was done by someone on ARC but I've struck out so far.

Later,

Lee

My resin wheel parts arrived from Brian (out2gtcha) yesterday, Awesome, thanks so much, these will get used in this years builds, could not have asked for better, chuffed to bits, thanks so much :)

My two donations are still to be posted, Maru is still on vacation and he has agreed to contact me when he is home for address to post to, not a problem Maru, enjoy the sunshine, it was -5 Celsius here this morning and the paths are white with frost!

Bernckir won my Stuka and it will be posted mid next week at latest, did advise it might take this long to do, due to many factors and I do apologise for lateness in posting, but better late than never, been in touch with both guys about this and will do again just now to keep them updated, had to post around same time last year for America and NZ, but I wont let either of you down, and that's a promise.

Hope we do this again, thanks again for admins for doing this, the feeling of goodwill is so good ... great fun :)

Sprue Brothers got a restock of the O-2 kits and I got one shipped out to New Zealand.  Shipping was surprisingly cheap.  Under $20

I want to thank Kagemusha for the Hasegawa F-104G (with Spanish & Taiwanese decals), which arrived in good condition despite the USPS’s best efforts to destroy the package.

I received my gift from mz826 yesterday, a great book called Weapons of War, fighter and reconnaissance aircraft 1939-1945.  I see many nights in my recliner reading this book.  And as an even better gift I now have a friend in Canada that I didn't before.  Quite a "win-win" situation.

Hey Guys...

I AM BACK! { you poor things }. :DodgeBall: :yahoo:

So how are you all doing... I see the weather is inclement everywhere...

Hope you all have a great 2018....

So I think the first thing to be in order is to PM MY winners and exchange addresses so I can send out their raffle prizes...

Oh yeah.... the holiday was great.. amazing... Seychelles (Mahé) has changed tremendously. In the past (1994) there was ONLY ONE road around the Island.... now highways and byways; with multi million dollars worth of homes and flats...
And even a Seychellois cannot afford these very expensive houses!
Saw and met a NASA scientist who comes from from Mahé and works in USA .... and he's building a house out of this world on top of the highest point on the mountain.....I wondered how the cranes got up the steep terrain.... :hmmm: ( he would not let anyone take photos of his house being built nor the location... I understand ... he works for NASA so wants to remain anonymous)

Anyhow it's really nice to get home and see you guys are doing fine.

Okay I am off to find out for sure who won MY donated prize.and post it as soon as I can.....
AND I fell on the wet tiled verandah in the garden and well I hurt MY left knee.

Swollen to the size of a medicine ball (truly); unable to bend the knee or walk correctly. Swollen sprained ankle. Broken toes.did that on 12/26/2017.
Had to see a private doctor .spent 5 hours waiting for an Xray...had to pay Seychelles Rupees (375 rupees =£19.70 pence. Woo hoo )but it's free if you live there.

So NOW I HAVE to see MY physician and check it out!
It was a beautiful holiday and boating with MY Uncle on his huge boat was a treat too!

Okay gentlemen.

Have a safe great weekend while I go peruse who won MY things.

Nice to see you.. good to be back on a bigger island!
Love ya ALL.

MARU 5137.

Welcome back Maru!  Glad to have you but it sounds like the holiday had some slippery parts to it too. Sorry to hear about the foot/knee/leg issues, but it sounds like you just need some time off of it and some medicine to heal.     Hopefully you will be feeling better soon and able to walk.  :D

Glad to have you back!
