Thanks for the positive vibes!  This is my second try at the Hasegawa D-9 kit so I was really looking forward to improving on that first effort.  It's a really good kit and goes together really well.  I like Hasegawa's approach in their 1/32 line of providing good fidelity but leaving out some of the behind-the-hatch interior stuff.  I like my birds buttoned up.

 

 

One of the best Hans Dorternmann mount I ever seen. Perfect painting and weathering!

Thanks so much for the positive comments!  Like I said, I was leery of posting at LSP due to the number of crazy good builds here.  But I also saw this is a sharing and learning opportunity so I am logging my next project here... the Revell G-10 in WIP.  Zero... That chipping style is a work in progress.  I thought it came off pretty well in certain areas but not in others.  I need a way to better portray some bigger chipping without using the hairspray method, which I've found to be a bit of hassle.
