Really good stuff.

But "where do I put this?" is also an increasingly problem at my abode.

A Christmas Story.

And I have a full size leg lamp too! As with the movie, the wife hates it when I put it in the front window of the house. Neighbors love it.

I would love to do a sailing ship like that (or bigger), but then realize that rigging a sailing ship makes rigging a biplane seem like child's play!

You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only one here.

Just because we can't obtain perfection doesn't mean that we shouldn't strive for improvement.

That was a serious challenge. When it was finished, my hands needed a 20 year break from building ships with rigging.

That's too funny, my wife found a slightly smaller replica lamp at a garage sale and shocked me when she brought it home. Who knew she's a big fan of the movie.

It is a MK XVI with bogus markings. It was the old Otaki highly modified, I nearly tossed it...that's the message on the fuselage. It came out really well after some stops and starts on it.

Did anyone ever do this one in 1/32 in any medium? I want to actually finish this one some day.

Harold.... I would love to see your work on this when you start a WIP.

Check the blueprints out. Downloads also offered! Use fingers to expand for a better peek at it!

Outstanding, thanks. I have a horrible urge to do this in 1/32 scratchbuilt. If something happens where I find time for either one.

I downloaded the small image and opened it in open source ImigMagick. (I use Linux Mint 18.2) Full screen and no loss of detail.

Thanks again.
