Absolutely gorgeous work and your painting skills are second to none.

Following with great interest as I have quite a few Lukgraph kits and have yet to attempt to build any. I'm hoping your build gets me going in that direction

Keep 'em coming

Peter

i was working on this one a little bit

added fuel pipes and wires to wing struts

undercarriage assembly was a little bit tricky, I kept the geometry, fixed with CA glu and after it just used epoxy glue for strengthening it

Jan,

I'm literally speechless :yahoo: Those added details just bring your build to the next level, as is the engine. But that prop; OMG it's as perfect as one can get it, and then some.

I'm really looking forward to your next update.

some progress on this one

I finished subtle weathering - dark blue wash for blue areas and dark grey for silver, also I have applied blue filter mostly on fabric surfaces

after it has completely dry, I have finished metal  surface with Mr. color semigloss varnish (in reality I have mixed super clear and semigloss in ratio 1/1, because super clear was to glossy).

For fabric surfaces I have used mixture of Mr. color semigloss and flat clear (ratio 9/1)

I have used cotton pad to polish it afterwards.

I have started with the rigging of the upper wing prior final assembly

and wing struts glued in place. To be honest this was the most difficult part of the build. there is no easy plug and play solution (like WNW) for alignment of wings and struts and it took me 2 nervously evenings to put it together

and now I need to finish rigging and do some minor repairs and it should be ready  :punk:

Thanks guys for your kind words, really apreciate

looks fantastic!

what are the fish hook lookin things on the gear axle?

these are the cable hooks used on carrier planes prior 1930 together with tail hooks

here you can see that arresting cable system on flight deck and retracted hooks on F3B

Did not know about this arresting system this before I started research of this particular plane

There is no good evidence of this particular plane, did not find any photo of it and most probably if it has these cable hooks, it must be around 1930, so most probably upper wing would be painted orange yellow and there will be tail skid instead of tail wheel.

But I have decided to follow instructions and do it OOB  :)
