Bill_S
I found this on Scalemates today. No mention of release date, and I can't locate the boxart anywhere else. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1075990-wingnut-wings-32058-jeannin-stahltaube Rick Griewski, Zero77, Bill Cross and 3 others
seiran01
Maybe we'll see that at Shizuoka in a few days. Strange that they got it early though...
ZachP319
Ooh I want one â˜ï¸ But in all honesty I would really like a JN-2/4 Jenny/Canuck. If Santa Wingnuts would do that for me I would even say I liked the Hobbit movies.... Zach Jolly Roger and williamj
Guest Clunkmeister
In that picture, it looks like that Taube is 2-3,000 feet up. I'm surprised that old clunker would make it that high... Edited May 9, 2017 by Clunkmeister

esarmstrong
It's flying though some good thermals All that green countryside suggests that it's summer still. Gotta be the thermals.

Those are European sized roads - lanes, really - and fields. He's 200 feet off the ground. I'd guess the artwork is a mock-up by an enthusiastic WNW fan. seiran01
Wiki quotes the Taube ceiling at 6600ft Wiki also stated when Leslie Nielsen passed away that he "lost a brief but final battle with his arch-nemesis Skeletor," (seriously...) so I'll choose to take that with a grain of salt Maybe they died it under an observation balloon to get extra lift, similar to the BE.2c-powered airships

I'm not convinced this is correct, but here goes: The book "International Warbirds: An Illustrated Guide to World Military Aircraft 1914-2000" states: "in July 1914 a Taube broke the world altitude record by reaching 21,600 feet."
