F`s are my favs
Thanks much! It is, undoubtly! The IR pod is ready... and with the "thing": and with the door open: The nozzles. I tried to capture the afterburner chambers, but - not enough light... I couldnt resist to "sharpen" the edges. Testfitted... and here they are the beauties: cya bye Gazzas, KiwiZac, Uilleann and 3 others

Actually the intakes are pretty much prepped for painting. F`s are my favs
The intakes - painted and the pics are at sunlight: Then, the very aft ends of the exhaust pads - i made them sliiiiightly stealthier So that`s after adding PE stripes above the big PE edges, to form thin slots. Then filling with Tamiya white putty (awesome putty!!!) and sanding, sanding, sanding.... The details for the tiles are still to be restored: This area after Surfacer: ...& a lil bit of slots for the boundary air cooling air: ShelbyGT500, Uilleann, mustang1989 and 2 others

Out2gtcha
Cool work. Ive always liked working with brass and PE. Seems to come naturally to me, and as proven here, can add a needed dimension of sharpness to a build. Shawn M and F`s are my favs

F`s are my favs
Well, for the compressor struts - i went with some proper cheetin... these are prints of the F119 engine faces: Attached to the rear halves of the intakes: And basically the main fuselage is assembled, and the intakes are painted from the innerr side. Not that much is visible from the engine faces even with with a flashlight... Uilleann, Shawn M, mustang1989 and 1 other
F`s are my favs
My first time cheeting like that :PP Enjoy some silhouettes with the landng gear up and down: The tires are testfitted and not flattened yet. I`m thinking... i might have make her slightly on the taller side while standing on the wheels. Cause there are no pylons and attachments whatsoever under the fuselage. But that`s it... i hope it is not so wrong, considering the low angle of the rudders and thus the small overall height. mustang1989, Uilleann, Shawn M and 1 other
