ironman1945
Hi All. This is what I work on when I want to take a break from the Whirlwind. Its the late model Tamiya Tiger 1. I have added Cavalier zimmeret, tow cables made from annealed brass wire spun together with a cordless drill, and various plastic detali bits for the tow cable tie downs, jack block holder, etc. Used a replacement resin gun barrel. Still have to add the mesh screens for the engine louvers on the back deck.

ironman1945
Last picture. I originally started this as an "out of the box" build to help me relax and come up with scratchbuilding solutions for the Whirlwind... but one thing led to another...oh well, at least its enjoyable... but Im thinking I just have to finish something soon. LSP_Matt
Looks good Dave I did the cordless drill thingy on a few of mine. Looks good eh...its hard to avoid the urge to go....aw, I reckon I could do it better than that...especially when you're meant to be having a break. The zimmerit looks as though you applied it yourself. It should paint up a treat. Cheers Matt
