Sparzanza
Are the sellers serious with these prices? https://www.ebay.com/itm/P40-WarHawk-1-24-Vintage-Fighter-Series-VF2401-last-made-in-2005/322839583998?hash=item4b2abd1cfe:g:WmYAAOSwOddYyHt0

LSP_K2
I run into the same thing with certain books; over the top asking prices, so I just move on. Zank_Frappa
LSP_K2
Looking at this review, it seems to me that the kit would require a fair amount of effort to be brought "up to snuff", especially considering the scale. While not a P-40, the Trumpeter Hurricane kits are really pretty impressive, for whatever that's worth. Uncarina
BloorwestSiR
Guess I should finish building mine. K2, the detail is definitely lacking especially in the cockpit but it's the only choice for.a 1/24 P-40. Carl LSP_K2

While I really like their big Thunderbolt, I'd probably pass on the P-40, but that's just me, despite the fact that I really like the P-40. GrahamF
That will probably sell, I remember seeing a British style conversion kit for the 1:32 Phantom go for over £1000.
BiggTim
That is a bummer, I'd love to have one, but will NEVER pay that for it. LSP_K2
GrahamF
I seem to remember it being slated due to 'thick' wings.
Sparzanza
I don't really care about its cons, I'd just like to put one together OOB and display it on my shelf. Seeing the prices though... it won't happen in this lifetime. Maybe the next!
GrahamF
It's the sort of subject that I reckon Airfix might consider for their 1:24 series, I can't think of any other single seat fighter that would be a natural follow on to the Typhoons. Iain
The guy is a chancer IMHO - he's asking $900 for a HK B-17G!! Iain
ssculptor
Come on now, by this time you should be used to idiotic sellers on eBay. I have been selling and buying on eBay since 1999 ;and I look forward to seeing these listings by these ninnies. I enjoy seeing how foolish some people can be. It always gives me the giggles. The only stupider person would be the poor, gullible jerk who actually pays that crazy price. By the way there is currently a putz offering a 1/32 P-40N for $425 when there are quite a few on eBay startling at $136 to 149. Its a funny world.
