Sea Venom aftermarket. And a Sea Venom's view of south NSW. :)

Hi guys.

I bought a Matchbox sea venom a while ago and have managed to get AMS wheels for it.

I've had a look on the web for more AM and have only found a decal sheet. I'm mainly after a cockpit and landing gear and any RAN markings.

Anyone know of anything around?

Thanks. And here's an old video. :)

Hi good luck there wasn't much around when I built mine - just ended up scratch the bits I could! Harold had some lovely bang seats for the Navy bird but OOP now me thinks.

Good luck mate look forward to the build when you get to it.

Are the ejection seats used in venoms sold separately?

I modified a set of MB4 seats issued for the Revell hunter, suitably modified to look like the light weight seats installed in the Sea Venom these worked out very well. Most of my cockpit, aft of cockpit and airframe was modified from the kit with allot of scratch building. I haven't finished mine yet but it is ready for paint when I am finished moving my stuff to my new model room. Edited by eaglekeeper

Hi - Yep the seats from Harold where separate items but I would think are very rare now. could always pm him as he is on here,

I sat the twins in mine as its an in-flight - there is a link in my sig if you want to take a look at what I did, If I do another - which I would most probably but a RAF one as it is an airframe my dad used to work on - I would take the route that Eaglekeeper is taking and do a mod scratch build to get them. I am afraid that scratch and adapt seems to be the only route for anything for a Venom.

Saying that if you can make the rails you now have some options with AM on the rockets!

Cheers Taff :D

Oh thanks guys. When I bought it I figured I'd use it as a scratch build rig anyway. I'll grab a couple of Hunter seats and see how I go.

Thanks so much. :)
