Great entry and for me, a Cub, is Yellow with a black stripe and reg number and a Super Cub is white with red trim.

Nothing like flying either on a arm summer day with the split clamshell door open and the wind blowing in.

For my 1 1/4cent ( Canadian money being what it is) the one with floats is the one....., to my old four eyes a Super Cub just doesn't look right with little wheels, bush wheels is where it's at for this old dog.... just sayin...

I love the floatplane too, I´m still undecided so we´ll see...  :frantic:

Peter, I have very fond memories from the Super Cub as I´m an old gliderpilot (120hrs, 25 years since last flight) and have been tugged(?) many, many times by Cubs, Colts, Pawnee and Moth.

I´ll agree that a Super should be white with red trim and a Cub should be Yellow, btw, in Sweden we usually call the Cub a "Lillcub", ie. little cub.

I really love these planes and have flown in them many times too as a passenger.

Cheers!

Stefan  :)
