My plan with my Mossie is to practice painting the figures (these would be my first in 1/32) and if I like how they look I'll pose them standing with the plane. If not, then no one's the wiser. It's an option if you're worried about how your figures will come out

My thought exactly Bstarr,

Have those nice one from Master detail to practice on....

  • 2 weeks later...

Sorry guys, need to postpone my paint job.

Was starting to get problem with my airbrush, it  happened often when I switch from Acrylic to Enamel, residue get stuck a the tip and nothing can go true, so then that's usually my call to dismantle my Iwata for a  cleaning...

but the problem this time was my PTFE seal..... I put it back too tight and crushed it  :BANGHEAD2:

the effect is that the needle don't slide anymore and don't go back to close position

letting paint accumulating at the tip, plashing all over when shouting.....

Should be able to get a replacement sometime this week.

See you later,

Dan.

Now will wait to get my replacement seal cause my next step will be to soften those hard edge a bit,

need to work at 5 to 8 psi max with a mix to 50/50, and very close to my model for a fine soft line.

Hope you like it and more to ome next week.

Have fun and happy modelling.

Thanks Ernie,

Will do my best, that blue one was my first prop, I'm mostly into Jet but I really had fun with that build....
