that is amazing wish i had the skills to paint it

Many thanks, you probably have the skills to paint a figure, you need a bit of technic and a bit of time.

I tried to show how to paint one since I was asked for it on another topic :

However, by lack of time, my progress is very slow

Hi
Next figure is an USAAF pilot, in summer flight suit, A2 leatherflight jacket , A-11 helmet and Mk VIII goggles:

cheers

That looks great! Is this kind of flight gear also suitable for a Pacific based USAAF pilot?

If so, that is exactly what I was waiting for to complement my P-51.

Now I am waiting for a present day USAF pilot in flight gear for my F-16 ;-)

Hi Markus, you get the answer on ARC (the pilot is europe based, just because of the Mk VIII goggles)

Hope to progress modern US side, but had more results modern russian side...

Hello

Back to the russians. Here is the first test print of the Zsh-7 helmet taht is currently in use by about all fighter and helicopter pilots, in his version with NVG holder : pictures depict 1/35 and 1/48 scales, but you know we do many scales

Got a message from a russian friend :

Small correction on the depicted ZSh-7 helmet : its an airplane version depicted (ZSh-7AP) that has only little use on helicopters (some pictures show them)

The mainstream version for helicopters is ZSh-7V, a bit different but with the same shell.

cheers

Norbert

Hey Norbert,

will you bring a "visir down" version as well? Because there is no closed visir version available.

Thanks!

it's possible to do,but up is up, and down has several positions possibilities, that's why I usualy make visor down versions on the figures themselves
