Unreal .. What simply amazes me is the level of workmanship, just top level and wonderfully done.

Special is surely the word

Keep 'em coming

Phew, almost two weeks since my last update, but the squadron is coming together at last...

Dang!  Not only is it one of my favorite aircraft (Aces, High, too!), but three of them!   :m0152:

Outstanding work.  Any thoughts on the figures you plan to use?

Cheers!

Tim W.

Thanks Tim, appreciate it!

I have ordered some RFC pilots from Model Cellar, don't know when they will arrive...

Kent,

The squadron looks simply stellar. All three aircraft's decaling is just dead on perfect. So good, in fact they look like they were painted with Masks.

Joel

Thank's. I've used whatever I had available, decals: Roundels, serial numbers and unit markings, the large letters and the fin tricolor are masked and painted.

Awesome figure choices!  Although the air gunner with the Lewis could be problematic, unless SE-5 pilots removed their own Lewis guns?

That'd make a great vignette.

Still remember the scene in Aces High where Malcom McDowell's Lewis gets stuck, with some unfortunate results!

No gun = Pilot?

Diorama base with basic colors before applying static grass...

Rigging, a bit of a chaos...

Almost halfway throught the rigging nightmare...

Looking forward to be doing something else than rigging...
