KH P51H????

Butt ugly. To me it looks like a homebuilt, and doesn't have the same kick a$$ appearance of the earlier 'D'. North American should have giving it a different designation other than P-51 IMHO.  Probably not many parts, if any, were interchangeable.  But I'm sure a very lethal platform, not to take away from it.  I wouldn't buy one even if it was offered free.  Now I'm wondering if any kills were ever recorded by the 'H'. Fire away 'H' lovers, got my flak jacket on. lol

The heck with the 'H', let's get that 'B/C' going.

Best regards

Patrick

Well Patrick i beg to differ (ofcourse i might add) but the "H" is a part of the family and to have a line-up of all these "stangs" would be nice IMHO.

And ofcourse indeed bring on that B/C!!!

And just out of curious interest: there were a whole lot of more versions in that same Mustang family, but they didn't evolve into production, ......like the one with counter rotating propellors, having the cockpit on top of the shaft drive, because the engine was behind it............engine and cockpit changed places ......

And what about the version with the packard engine?

Ofcourse these variations are not suitable for a IM model, but some scratch building could turn 'em into one......

Well, actually also about the twin mustang, but as a "side step" not so much the XP-75, but a drawing board version that resembles the Fisher design, let me try and find an image of it..........

Sexy?  Really?  Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and I respect that. I guess It's all in the eyes of the beholder.  Not my eyes.  I remember everyone raving about Elizabeth Taylor, and how beautiful she was, but I didn't think she was all that hot.  But that's just me. Yep, I know, I'm crazy. lol
