Junkers Ju 87A, Condor Legion

Hi all,

I thought I'd post some photos of my 1/32 Trumpeter Ju 87A, done in Condor Legion colours. The markings are custom masks, as is the emblem on the spat. The model was built with Eduard extras, and the paints are from MRP (Mr Paint, Slovakia). In all, a trouble-free project. I modded the cowl to correct a couple of anomalies but didn't bother with the lower spat shape. I could live with that.

This model and build article are in the latest edition of Military Illustrated Modeller, which should be in the shops right now.

Nice build and finish. Not a criticism of your work, but, like Smitty44's, the propeller looks bent backwards, and that troubles your humble servant ...

I agree! I don't think it looks as bad when you see it. Maybe the silver isn't helping, but yes, it does look odd.

I've got the mag - it's a very well documented build, with great photo's. Real world modelling, looking for accuracy but not going over the top, useful advice on building the Stuka.

Only criticism is that Jim makes it look ever so easy!

It mentions something about a Fw189 build coming next month....
