LSP_K2
The "what if" concept here is that while airframe designs continued to evolve, flamboyant marking schemes did not, the Germans hanging on to the garish Flying Circus type individual personal markings mentality, and as cool as they were, who could blame them? LSP_K2
Thanks, Martin, I like it. It's a wonderful opportunity to mesh two favorite subjects into one project, so I see it as a win, win. marauderdriver
LSP_K2
Pit spritzed with a dark gray (an approximation of RLM 66), and is awaiting washes and detail painting. I have no intention of going all nuts trying to make the pit look accurate. Sparzanza

LSP_K2
Just finished prepping both wings, still a tiny bit of filler to add here and there though. I spent twenty minutes last night, looking for the under wing gun pods, only to discover this morning that they're already attached to wing;... how stupid. LSP_K2
Pit now all painted up, awaiting clear coat and some washes. (Too lazy to take my light tent outside for photos,... sorry.) Sparzanza
LSP_K2
Moving right along, pit is now all painted up, and fuselage halves are zipped up. Some cleanup is required on some smaller parts, then they too will be attached, along with wings. I'll grab an Eduard mask for the cockpit glass (as soon as I can afford it). LSP_K2
You painting the lozenge camo or using decals? The lozenge will be Aviattic decals. I've been considering something completely frivolous like this for quite some time now, so this GB seemed like a perfect time to get cracking on it.
