  1. Hi Theo, like the fun about modelling and your kind words, too! I have to apologize... The stormbird is second in the production line at the moment! I tend to take model kits from their boxes to the bench, build some steps and then put them in plastic boxes to the shelf of shame... (I think, I have about 10 or 12 kits in the making at present time! ) More to come... (not just kidding!) Cheers, Martin
  2. Hi Jeroen, this is incredible... Love it! Makes me want to build these WNW kits, too. Especially the "scratches" on the panels: outstanding! Cheers, Martin
  3. Hi Willi, this engine is looking really good! What paint did you use?!? Keep up the good work! Cheers, Martin
  4. Looking really good! Like it a lot! Hope there's more to come... Cheers, Martin
  5. Uuuhhh dirty! Hi Moksha, love it! Perfect job on weathering and the whole built! Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Martin
  6. Hi Matt, looking realy good... I've got eight words for you: This built made me restart with mine again! Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Martin
  7. Hi Willi, looks like there's a WnW virus on this board! Nice choice on the kit and good progress so far... I'll follow this one! Keep 'em coming!
  8. Hi Grant, thanks for the compliments... I hope to get the work started asap! But for now I'm getting to know again why I've got stuck on this built. But nothing too serious. And thanks to Thomas Lund one of the issues is (long time) sorted out! And hey guys, look yourself... I added some weight to the nose of this lady and what's the "Thank you"?!? She lifts her nose, not to say "tail sitter". And now once again "A great thanks" to Thomas, who sent me a spare clear part for the cockpit, as I cracked mine with my clumsy hands. That's all for now but still more to come!
  9. Thanks Maru... And hi guys, I'm back on the bench with still the old projects... Been very busy the last months / years besides the bench! Had to sort some things out! More to come (hopefully... ) Cheers, Martin
  10. Hi Thomas, comparing both pics... Looks spot on to me! I'd change nothing, just do some weathering and all is perfect! Keep up the good work! Cheers, Martin
  11. Hi Willi, the V056 is a great looking a/c! Looking forward to see a "WIP" here on the board... But why no update on my stormbird?!? It seems this kit should be a longterm project. But as often, when expecting nothing special, just some last tune ups before priming, there's the a little gremlin looking at the airplane! Here's the report of my "little" mishap (I'll post an evidence picture...): Almost everything done, just prepare the canopy parts (future dipping and stuff) when I noticed there's a handle on the inside for pilot (closing the middle clear part of the canopy) which is represented with poor detail on Trumpy's. Ok, so remove the parts molded on and scratch something. Then it happened, with using too much pressure I got a crack in the canopy part. But no worries, the spare parts are on their way! So, more to come! And thanks for looking in... Cheers, Martin
  12. Hi Thomas, nice to see your collection here! Good finish on the Me109! I like the "tulip" a lot... And the Swordfish looks great, too! Keep up the good work! Cheers, Martin
  13. Hi Iain, just found out you finished your Heinkel! Looking great and an interesting scheme! Love it... Cheers, Martin
  14. So guys, here we go... Got some more! Working on the tiny fiddly bits that tend to fall down on the floor and "pling" jump away! Working with a kind of "breathing technique", I call it "apnoe modeling"... Don't try this at home! More serious... Got some different sets of MDC's bombs... Still don't know if I should add aftermarket, since the only AM is the belts. But they do look better than the kit's bombs... Also finished the "Wikingerschiff", Plastic card, putty, some spare parts of other kits and some spare photo etched parts. (Sorry, a bit too dark, could't get it brighter...) Replaced the circular antenna with some spare PE. And the pitot tube: made a new one from injection needles... And a comparison of the scratched pitot and the one from the kit... Okay, more to come, when I find the time to get airgun started! Cheers, Martin
