Give me a stick and a puck and I'm fine

that comment could have gone very wrong Dave! :D

Nice work here mate, I see you've done some cutting out of the cannon bulges, with what appears to be great precision?! I'm looking forward to seeing more pics mate!

Keep 'em coming, there's nothing as nice a spitfire, IMO!

Cheers,

Ango.

Oh hell Ango,I'm trying my damndest to get this right.Ithink I have it now.The Hasegawa MkVb bulges were first scored around with a needle and pin vice. Then I carefully dremeled from the back side until the bulges simply popped out.I had to fill a few panel lines and scribe a few new ones but it's starting to come together now...here's a bit more wing work....Stop laughing Laverty :D you know I hate these computers...

Now some legs to stand on.I sanded the upper section of the gear door then glued two runners, one on either side of the leg.The kit part looked less than real.I also did a bit of rivet work with the MDC rivet tool which is excellent to work with by the way.The brake lines are from .010 lead wire and the flexible portion of the brake line is dry-line floater tubing for fly fishing.I just ran the lead wire through the tube and went from there. The attachment points for the brake line is small slices of the same type of tubing.I hope that all made some kind of sense...cheers

Seriously though Dave, you're doing fine with the computer, and your pics are excellent. You seem to be completely on top of things to me?!

Great tip there for removing the bulges....I'll be employing that strategy for sure when the situation presents itself.

Those underwing intakes are looking great too. edit: OMG, undercarriage alert....they are superb mate! This is gonna be sweet!

Cheers mate,

Ango.
