  1. John - I continue to be in awe at the quality of your work along with how well it is presented. Truly inspiring. May I ask what you use to thin your Testors acrylic flat varnish and ratio? I have been fumbling with various flat coat formulas(Tamiya xf-86/Vallejo/Alclad) and would like to try out the Testors. It's such a critical stage at the end of a build to have the varnish go badly. Thank you! Mike J.
  2. Hello - The Mr. Hobby Aqueous paints are my favorite, as discussed, they work well with Tamiya and I can use the techniques I've developed with both paints. I know there are a ton of other paints to pick from now, but I like the results of Tamiya and Mr. Hobby. This may have been discussed before, but I just can't find a reliable source to ship to the US. I've used BNA for a while and I thought I was set...but now they no longer ship overseas. I've used Seal Models, Ebay and Lucky Models but they don't seem to ever restock, especially RLM colors. Also, they will only ship 6 paints at a time. Anyway, maybe I need to move on to another brand or just mix Tamiya, but I just can't seem to let it go. If anyone has any suggestions for a reliable shop that will ship to the US, I would be grateful. Thank you. airedale
