Ohm-men
This build is really inspirational! Been following it up for quiet a while and I'm amazed with your creative solutions for the problems that apear during the build! Even though I don't venture in the bigger scales (yet), builds like these make me wanna start cut plastic card!
Joel_W
Dan, now that's outstanding problem solving. I would have never thought of any of that. But again, that's why i build kits and have no idea about scratch building. I'm really looking forward to how you go about making the canopy and windscreen. Dandiego
"Canopy and windscreen" I also am looking forward to how Dan will pull that off. Dan Joel_W

Dandiego
Small stuff being fabricated. First up leading edge slats. I will make 3 and choose the best 2. Next gear doors. Just the basic shapes. And the main central doors. These are quite complicated and will require quite a lot of work. Joel_W
Dan, The slats look good, but your gear doors look great. Can't wait to see the final pieces ready for priming. Joel Dandiego

ClumsyDude
Gee that's looking awesome with the scribing and all. You wouldn't know it wasn't a high grade injection moulded kit. Jim Dandiego

hamfists nz
Man look at the fuselage where it joins the wing..no area rule..no fairing or curved aerodynamic niceties..I bet it was like holding on to a wild horse over 600 knots!
Dandiego
A little more detailing. First is the speed brake interiors. Next are the outer main gear doors. Hey I am just guessing on this detailing stuff, no clear pictures of any of this. So I am just adding something to increase the detail level. And last for tonight are the inner main doors. In progress. The doors appear very complicated from the 2 pictures that I have found. Still a lot of guess work. Rainer Hoffmann
Speed brakes and doors are looking good already, Dan. Can't wait to see them painted. Cheers Rainer Starfighter and Dandiego
Joel_W
Dan, Whethe or not the detailing is accurate or not, it looks the part, and ads a lot of visual interest. Not much you can do about it, if there aren't any or many pictures to work from. Joel Dandiego
Dandiego
Speed brakes and doors are looking good already, Dan. Can't wait to see them painted. Cheers Rainer I can hardly believe it myself but I shot some green paint on the doors and wells tonight. Paint....actual paint. Unbelievable.
