mgbooyv8
..... Here's my first vacform: the Focke-Wulf F-19A Ente from Airmodel. This one is more than 20 years old. Finally, these two were finished recently: the BAC Jet Provost Mk.5 and Strikemaster from Airfix. Hope you like them Cheers, Peter
LSP_K2
The idea of a Sparrowhawk, or any airplane hanging from an airship always freaked me out. This was not the first time the concept was tried though. Cool nonetheless.
Out2gtcha
Great looking models Peter! While Ive never been much for 72nd scale, I have to say there are certain airplanes that may just simply not be feasible or practical in any other scale, such as that ANT-25. Great looking models, and un-like a lot of 72nd stuff Ive seen yours definitely do not look like they are 72nd scale in those shots. Well done. :D Cheers, Brian
Guest Peterpools
Peter Some wonderful modeling. Your Douglas World Cruiser is absolutely a crowd stopper. How about a closeup of the BD-J5? Peter
Derek B
Wonderful work Peter. I love your eclectic taste in model choices...there is a real sense and feel of history here Cheers Derek
mgbooyv8
Thanks guys Yes Derek, I have a soft spot for the weird and the wonderful. That doesn't mean I don't have a fair share of 1/72 Spitfires and jets as well. I tend to approach them as quick relaxing builds an sometimes give them a special paint scheme. Peter, here's the close-up of the BD-5J. I figured out I built this little model also more than 20 years ago! I notice that because I didn't accentuate the control surfaces back then. LSP_Kevin
Crikey, what a great collection Peter! It's threads like this that really help to show the great diversity of modelling interests and tastes LSP members have, despite a shared affection for large scale planes.
