A true pioneer of rock and roll has left us.
I hope he can finally find the peace he couldn't find here in life.

Go Johnny go, Chuck Berry will never die, laughed my ass off when he had Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones at his house and said he did it all wrong....

Now we only have Jerry Lee left....

Loved the song Maybeline, Later found out she whas a cow.

Atleast he got 90, A blessed age, to many died young

RIP Chuck, And ty for your music you left us, including your silly duck walk :party0023: .

Wee, Wee hours and listening to you , Rock on in heaven, And do hope God not play guitar, as you will say he does it all wr....

I was, am and always will be a Dion fan. His music just hit me dead on. Every time. First with the Belmonts, then the amazing solo career.
He was a huge star in the late 50s and early 60s, then drugs got ahold of him and he hit bottom.
Recovered, had a few more hits, then settled back.
How many rockers can say they're still married to the same girl for 50+ years...

Still my childhood hero, and still rockin' and rollin' after all these years.

Spun a lot of his 45's as a disc jockey back in the late 50's and early 60's.  Really liked his music.

RIP in Chuck.  Your music was my teenage years.

Chuck

Rest in Peace

You will always be remembered and your / our music will live on.

A while back I watched an interview with The Killer: Jerry Lee Lewis  and he made a point to say the last of the great early Giants of Rock N Roll, were himself and Chuck Berry. Sad to say, it's now just the Killer.

Peter

He probably wouldn't have survived his teen years today with the way young men of color get shot by nervous police officers. He spent three years in juvie for stealing cars for joy riding.

Another true Icon gone, and the numbers are dwindling down of the original Rock N Roll super stars. May he rest in peace. I have his greatest hits album on my phone, so his music is always with me.

And Ernie, like you Dion is still one of my 3 all time favorites. Run Around Sue is my favorite Rock N Roll song. The other two are The Beach Boys, & Buddy Holly.
