I just saw images of the kit decals at the Sprue Brothers site.  If not ZOTZ, then somebody will have to do some.

"Memphis Belle" is the movie version.

I'd like to see some decals for other than Memphis Belle or Knockout Dropper. For kit and decal manufacturers, those two seem to be the only two B-17Fs that ever existed!

I once did the 1/48 Revell kit with SuperScale decals for "The Witch's Tit"

Humourous nose art that I assume referred to the temperature at altitude.

Any further thoughts on doing a 17E/F sheet?  I'm not keen on Kits World decals and I don't think there's too many other decal companies that are up to the task.  I'd be willing to lend a hand with research if needed.  Not intended to be political at all but I hope Trumpy doesn't mess with my sourcing Zotz decals....  I won't be happy.

As I said when I started this thread, I'm sure folks would embrace a new 1:32 E/F sheets. Many were already in the "Heavenly Bodies 1:72 and 1:48 sets. I would dearly love to get markings for The Red Gremlin, which was included in the original 48th and 72nd sets. Pleeeeeeeeease!

From the 100th BG Foundation website:

A "Duck" (Diversionary Mission) is a mission flown to draw off enemy fighters from some other operation – hopefully to draw enemy fighters away from the primary mission force.

Hope that helps.

Well boys, we got three engines out, we got more holes in us than a horse trader's mule, the radio is gone and we're leaking fuel and if we was flying any lower why we'd need sleigh bells on this thing...

Cheers,
Wiilie

Yes, means they were a "Sitting Duck" on two missions.

After finishing the Crusader and Tomcat decals, it is time to start with the B-17F.

Memphis Belle will have correct markings as well as other ones that have not been done in 1/32 scale.

So, they are coming.

Thanks

Count me in as well! Thanks Eli!

For what it's worth, I would love to see B-17E "Honi Kuu Okole", which means "Kiss My Ass" in Hawaiian.
