Scotsman Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 Like the P-40 , this is my take on the F-80 , Overall view Finish is standard Alclad - on top of standard Alclad primer , mixing and matching the various shades, along with selective matt varnish my wife DEMANDED that this scheme be used .. Close up on Harolds Pit The canopy framing was done using a silver marker pen - no masking, and it too a whole 5 minutes .. The rivet lines where added after the painting - just enough to mark the silver finish One final view I'm one of those odd modellers who actually enjoys NMF finishes - odd I know !
