Nose_Art
Nice - really like the idea of combining the Hasegawa fuselage with the Hobbyboss kit - makes a lot of sense IMHO... Iain Thanks sir!
Nose_Art
That is great work. I too will be interested to see how the hybridising of the two kits works out in terms of interchangability. Two kits of the same subject should just be interchangeable right? erm perhaps not. Keep up the good work. There will be compromise or two. thanks!
Nose_Art
This is the Hasegawa wing, for those you are not familiar with the Hasegawa MkV kits. It just won't do in the 21st century. And the Horizontal tail I need to have separate control inputs geedubelyer

Nose_Art
Will throw this into the mix. Wow! Used clamps and hot water to form the resin panels to the fuselage. . I have to remove the undercarriage selector, this kite had the hand pump. geedubelyer

geedubelyer
Hi Art, those resin sidewalls will really look the part under paint. Nice job of removing the gear selector lever too. No-one will ever know it was there. Good work. The Mk XVIII looks intriguing. Are you planning to show that in a WIP? I'd like to see more of it as it progresses too. Love those suplimental aircraft images. Cheers.

geedubelyer
Hi Art. Hope you don't mind me giving this thread a little bump. Have you managed to get any paint on those lovely resin cockpit sides yet? Also, how does the mk XVIII look now? Cheers.
Nose_Art
Hi, Thanks for your input Harv, Maru, Andy and Geedube. I have to look at the instructions, but I think this goes in the cockpit. Geedube, you mean something like this? Shaka HI
