Dukie99
Just finished my Trumpeter Mig-29M. This is a build prompted by Trumpeter announcing last year that it would release new tooled Mig-29 and I wanted to build this one before. It is build OOB with the addition of an Aires bangseat, Aires cans and Master static discharger. Decals are from the Begemot Mig-29 set and stencils from HAD models. This is a purely fictional scheme as the Mig-29M never wore that livery. Stencils for the weapons come from Begemot Su-27 stencils sheet. Camo is painted with Mr. Paint. Metals parts are Alclad. This is a very good fitting kit and it was a pleasure to build. If the new Mig-29 from Trumpy are just as good, this is going to be a treat. I hope you like it. Cheers, David dutik, Daniel Leduc, Vandy 1 VX 4 and 8 others

amurray
Very, very nice job of modeling! Question: What is it about the kit that Trumpeter is going to re-tool? Looks really good to me as is but then I know nothing about the MiG-29 other than it is a beautiful airplane.
Dave Williams
Very, very nice job of modeling! Question: What is it about the kit that Trumpeter is going to re-tool? Looks really good to me as is but then I know nothing about the MiG-29 other than it is a beautiful airplane. This kit is the Mig-29M, which is actually a 2nd or 3rd generation prototype. The upcoming kits are the first generation Mig-29s which had fewer pylons, less capability and some changes in things like the wing, tails, spine, and air brake. Think of this version as the Super Hornet while the upcoming kits are legacy Hornets.

Tony T
Stunning job. For similar reasons, there's a K here that might need to be made before the A comes out. Tony
