  1. merlin looks awesome, can't wait to see it in paint
  2. Looks great, love the wings. I want to try foiling myself but too afraid. Maybe after seeing your progress I'll get my feet wet. Steve
  3. The bay is looking great, well worth the time and effort and will look awesome detailed and painted up, I can't wait. I think you would be safe going with either color as there is probably no definitive answer, some say that even NMF would be correct. Steve
  4. I like how this is turning out, looking good. I'm looking forward to seeing your wheel well work. Steve
  5. I see that CM now offers detail sets to go with their kits, but provide no info or pics. Can anyone shed some light on what is included, materials used, quality etc.? Steve
  6. Very Cool. What kind of seat belts did you use, I like the stitching. Looking forward to your progress. Steve
  7. Wow, you have come a long way with your D Geoff, it's looking great. can't wait to see her finished up but it will be sad to see this process end. Steve
  8. Very cool! Your wheel bays are looking killer! As well as the gun bay. Steve
  9. Sounds like an awesome project. How could you give us so much information with out photos to look at? Hurry up with the visuals... Which of the 2 kits (Has & Dragon) is to be the basis of your project? Steve
  10. Thanks for clearing that up Kev and Max. And I'll definetely look in to those seatbelt details from Fotocut. Steve
  11. I have just acquired one of these myself (MPC) and will be my next adventure as well. I wonder if anyone can tell me if this kit is similar to the Airfix kit. The only things that I have been able to find as far as aftermarket for 1/24 Mustangs are the Cockpit Placards available from Squadron. I plan on correcting the weel wells on this one too, along with a few other things but am looking forward to it as it looks like a fairly good representation of the P-51, other than being old, allot of sink marks and warpage. Steve
  12. News Alert... Mustangs take over LSP! Looking good Ironwing, looking at your awesome seat it makes the Dragon seat look too small. Steve
  13. Wow, nice attention to detail! Those bolts for the plugs look killer. If this is just the start the rest is going to be incredible... Steve
  14. Damn, I don't know what we did to deserve that, but it seems that Mustang builders now have a new expert to answer to now that this guy has stopped keeping his mouth shut... maybe he can show us the perfect Merlin replica... Steve
  15. Looks absolutely awesome! Beautiful paintjob Steve
