I've always liked the Merlin powered P-40's, particularly the overall sand painted short-tailed a/c in Egypt 1942. I have the resin conversion set by Derek Bradshaw/Grey Matters Figures and a Hasegawa P-40E so I think that will be next up on my bench. I did a long-tailed "L/M" a couple of years ago using Derek's set and a Hasegawa P-40M which turned out nice. Hopefully this one will go well.

Here's the one I plan to model,

John,

I'm looking forward to following your build. I've got a Hasegawa  P-40E waiting in the wings just calling my name.

Joel

John,

I'm still willing to bet that you finish it before I finally get the F4F across that finish line, and I'm almost there. :piliot:

Not bad at all Peter. You just have to be careful and cut exactly where the instructions indicate.

Nice John! Where did you get this conversion kit? Ebay lists some, but they're continents away from me and the shipping alone is fairly prohibitive.
