Thomas Lund
Looks good Mark, but boy does it look like that wing surface needs filler... Is that normal of vac kits, mine looks real good ?
Lee White
Thomas, I think it's either the plastic quality, problems heating the plastic, or both that cause this. I once got 3 ID He-219s from a fellow who decided that he didn't want one of these after all when he saw the work involved, and one of the kits had this same problem. I remember it well, as he commented that he thought the model looked like it had Cellulite. Ugh. mark31
mark31
Yes i know it looks bad. But like u said some filler and a lot of sanding a bit more work to do and hopefuly it will turn out good. Mark Lee White

Starfighter
Looking great, Mark! My Hawkeye has the same surface problems on the wings, so that seems to be more or less normal on that kit. Keep the updates coming!
mark31
Also made a start on the horizontal tailplanes and cut out a part(dont know the eact name). I have seen on pics these are a bit downwords when parkd. Like u can see a lot of filler and sanding needed. Mark
