MikeC
Here's one I did a few years ago, Revell's ASK 21 glider. I did mean to acquire the rest of the series, as this was a great kit, but to my regret somehow never did. There were a lot of decal options in the box, and I settled on a TG-9A used at the USAF Academy, Colorado Springs, around 2002. Thanks for looking. LSP_Kevin
Nice build Mike! I never realised these were used by the US Air Force. Kev MikeC
MikeC
Thanks Kev. Apparently they used them until 2003, here's the link to the relevant USAFA page. Now using the TG-16A, but same purpose. Edited October 31, 2014 by MikeC

wunwinglow
Nice one Mike! Get the others though, the Revell glider kits are all cracking products! Tim MikeC
Lee White
I have seen these when I lived in Colorado, not to far from the AFA- They went to a Slingsby product afterward, which they promptly crashed in several hi-profile accidents. Some of those were not really the product's fault, but they were removed from the inventory, and now they fly bright yellow gliders, not nearly as sleek as your model. Eagle Driver
Amazing build! I always wanted to fly one of those, but never had a chance. Flown older and slower types of engine-less birds. MikeC
MikeC
Thanks for all the kind words folks - I still intend to do another glider one day if I can get one.
