Brian, any news on when the T8-M conversion might ship?

Just got my E-Bay FGA 9 in the mail this afternoon, and Im jonesin to see the conversion with it! :D :speak_cool:

Cheers,
Brian

Hey Brian, You stole that one on Ebay! Good Catch! I know Paul has his casting crew rolling on these now, he is still waiting on the PE and decals though so we're waiting as well! At least you have the kit, they seemd to dry up or get exspensive after the last set we did so you're ahead of the game.
thanks
Brian

Kewl No worries. Yeah the E-Bay snag for just over(ish) 20 bucks was just that...........a STEAL, as your right, they got a tad scarce last time. Quite a nice kit actually. I just got an E-mail from Paul and he explained what the sitch was.

Thanks and cheers,
Brian

I asked that very question to Paul back on 6/25 Andy:
"Paul, After having pre-ordered an M conversion, I was just wondering, is there
any word on when these might ship out?"

To which I received:

"Hi Brian,
We have had to re-do the photo etch art for the instrument panel as it did
not come out right, it will be about a month before i can send out any of
the sets.Hope that's OK, sometimes they get the films wrong and things go
pear-shaped.

Best,
Paul Fisher"

Cheers Brian, I guess we wouldn't want the photo etch pear shaped  I'd really like to see the decal options for the T.8C.

A nice T-8C walkaround can be seen on the Dutch IPMS site:

Hope it inspires building the model.

Hi guys, we're waiting on the decals to show up and then they'll be right out! I'll ask Paul about the profiles, I'm not sure what the markings include.

Unless of course you want to chop off the rear end and replace it with the same thing in resin? :ninja:

'Cept it's not the same thing - 100 series engine, not 200 :)

You need to be slightly careful as some of the later two seaters did in fact have the 200 series Avon and were based on F6's.
These were mainly for export customers.
One real beauty of note is the TSR2 avionics test aircraft XE531 designated a T12, which was painted in the really cool green and white scheme (saw a picture of a 1/32 version at a show in this month's SAMI mag)
This was an FGA9 conversion and had the 200 series Avon.

Also its nice to know I'm "running interference" on my T7 build for that Out2gusher fella! :evil_laugh:

What version of the Revell kit is suitable for the T.8M. Would it be the F.6 or FGA.9?
